Herdr
A native, open-source home for Claude Code, Codex and any terminal coding agent: spaces per repo, tabs per task, a sidebar showing which agent needs you, agents that start and steer helper agents, and remote machines over SSH. Agents keep running in herdr-core when the window closes, and the whole UI is plain files your agent can rewrite.
💲 Free and open source (Apache 2.0): the app, herdr-core and Herdr TUI. Source: herdr.dev (checked Oct 30, 2026).

- Agents survive closing or updating the app
- Customize everything by asking your agent to edit config files
👎 Cons
- Status only for agents that support the OSC 7501 protocol
- New app; agents don't auto-resume after a reboot
